The A-9006S is a high-power, active dual 18-inch subwoofer designed to serve as the low-frequency core of professional sound reinforcement systems. Featuring a fully integrated "speaker + amplifier + DSP" design, it eliminates the need for external amplifier racks or processors—simply connect the power and signal cables to put it into operation.
The A-9006S features a trapezoidal or rectangular enclosure design consistent with professional stage speaker standards; typically constructed from high-quality birch plywood and finished with a durable, anti-slip coating, it offers excellent impact resistance and weatherability. A-9006S Subwoofer Hardware Fundamentals:
Dual 18-inch Woofers: Features two large-diameter 18-inch woofers with high-flux magnetic circuits and long-excursion designs, capable of moving large volumes of air to produce high-impact low frequencies. RDNet EtherCon Network Port: Connects to the RCF RDNet network, enabling remote monitoring, EQ adjustment, and firmware management for the entire system (daisy-chaining up to 256 devices) via PC software.
Power Interfaces
PowerCON IN/OUT: Supports wide-range voltage input (90–240V); a regulated power supply ensures full-power output between 100V and 260V; multiple subwoofers can be daisy-chained for power, significantly reducing cabling requirements.
DSP Controls (Rear Panel)
The rear control panel offers intuitive physical controls: Gain, Low Cut (30/40Hz), Crossover (variable 50–400Hz), Volume, Delay, Phase switch, and Preset selection; includes integrated soft-clipping limiters, RMS limiting, and thermal protection.
RDNet Networked Control
Integrated RDNet port on the rear panel. RDNet is RCF’s proprietary network control platform, allowing unified adjustment of levels, delay, EQ (including linear-phase FIR), and polarity across the entire system—as well as management of digital matrices and amplifiers. It supports daisy-chaining a large number of devices on a single network and enables array-level Air Compensation and Cluster shaping.
