How do you usually run your power amplifier? This is a passage about the very basic things when using the amplifier.
How to Maintain your Amplifier?

How to maintain your power amplifiers in daily use? Do you know whats good for the amplifiers and whats not?

There are several basic things you may need to know.

The Optimal Working Environment for Amplifier

a. Its recommended that users run their amplifier at an airy and dry place and avoid working environments which are corrosive to the amplifiers.

For example, places that are humid, high-temperature, soot or chemicals-related will potentially damage the amplifiers.

As a result, if you want to prolong the longevity of the amplifier, do not overlook this very precondition.

b. Users should place the amplifiers on a flat, stable and safe table or in a case (such as fastening them in a flight case).

This not only can help to prevent the bumping among the devices, but also it greatly reduces the chances of falling down. Indeed its a normal and simple thing that people may often neglect.

We may need to be aware of the significance of using the amplifier in a safe way.

c. An EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) environment is obviously the worst place to power the audio devices, including power amplifiers. For instance, something like the electronic ballast for fluorescent light will trigger the crash of the CPU, leading the amplifiers failure to work.

The ideal working time for amplifier

a. Power supplies, source of sound and speakers are generally the three needed conditions for an amplifier to work. Its commonly agreed that the amplifier  work normally at 1/3 of the output of the main volume. Also the value can be adjusted based on your needs.

b. Usually its better for the amplifiers to take a rest after running it for 4 hours. Taking a break for 30-60 minutes is feasible. Otherwise, some core components may be damaged after a very long time use due to overheating.
